The annual reunion and meeting of the RHOADS\RHOADES\RHODES\RHODS Families is held the last week end of April in Browder, Muhlenberg County, KY. Above is the sign posted one year on the front of one of the Motels in nearby Central City which is just off the Western Ky Parkway. Capt Henry Rhoads Jr., his sons Solomon and David and his brother Daniel were among the pioneer settlers in this area of Kentucky in the late 1700rds. Capt Henry and Daniel were sons of pioneer Henry Rhoads Sr who died in what is now Somerset Co. PA in 1774.
The reunion is held annually in Browder which is nearby the two story log house built in 1792 by Capt Henry and also nearby the Rhoads Cemetery which is maintained by the families who have been attending the reunions. Below are pictures of some of the folks descended from Capt Henry's son David who have been in attendance. E-mail addresses are included where available.
