GFS bud: My Jacob Rhodes, son of Henry Sr. died in Londerry Twp, Bedford co PA in 1790.

GUYDAR: I have the feeling that there is some relationship between the two names and there has been
GUYDAR: significant interchanging. True?
GUYDAR: Jacob Roth, Medina Co. Ohio, 1850 census
GUYDAR: believed to change name from Rhodes.
GUYDAR: My question with which I need help: GGGrandmother believe nee Roth but now find indications
GUYDAR: that nee Rhodes.
GUYDAR: Could it be that her familt changed name from Rhodes to Roth?

GUYDAR: 1850 census shows Rhodes famil. 1860 census shows Roth family with essentially same given na

GUYDAR: Yes. Mary Rhodes/Roth married Vetter as second husband. A child moved there in late 1890

GUYDAR: We know her as mary but proper name may be Anna Marie

HBeaty: I think my John Rhodes in St. Mary`s C o. was English.

SBCTM: My oldest ROADS is Abraham/Absalem ROADS - maybe from PA - died 1825 in Highland County, OH
SBCTM: Later ROADS migrated to Knox County, IL, then to Kansas.
SBCTM: I have found a story about "my" ROADS migrating from - cann't remember the county - in VA
SBCTM: migrated with the COMBS family
SBCTM: I'll have to look it up and get back with you
